Phones are amazing for everyday moments, but the truth is… you can’t get a beautiful photo of a tiny newborn on a phone .

My love for newborn photography began when I had my own babies. Newborn photographer/ Saffron Walden Photographer Marta Cayzer. Before becoming a parent, I didn’t fully understand just how quickly those first days would pass. Once my babies arrived, time seemed to move faster than ever, and I realized how precious and fleeting the newborn stage truly is.

I believe in newborn photography because it captures the beginning of a story. In the early days, babies change almost daily—their features soften, their expressions shift, and their tiny hands and feet grow so fast. Newborn photographs freeze those fleeting moments in time, allowing families to remember just how small and new their baby once was.
